Katie’s K9 Buddies is a business operating in the South East of England (referred here as ‘we’) and is responsible for collecting, processing, storing, and safe-keeping personal and other information as part of providing a service and carrying out regular business activities. We manage personal information in accordance with data protection legislation including the Data Protection Act 2018.

Katie’s K9 Buddies is serious about protecting your online privacy and security. You will be providing your personal data directly and voluntarily upon engagement with Katie’s K9 Buddies through the enquiry process. Information will be collected when you:

1.       You follow information provided and contact us through our email, website, enquiry forms, or social media;

3.       You sign up for email resources;

We collect this information for you to access our services and to communicate with you regarding these. We may use the information collected to:

3.       Provide you with information/services that you request from us or which we feel may benefit you, where you have consented to be contacted for such;

4.       Respond to enquiries you have about services;

5.       Allow you to access and utilise the service you have purchased;

Following Data Protection Legislation we only collect and process information required to meet the purposes as stated above. The information we may collect about you could include, but is not limited to:

4.       Details about your lifestyle;

5.       Details about how you use our website including IP address.

Occasionally we may ask for special category data if necessary for a particular service, such as health data. As per our Data Processing Principles we only ask for information that is necessary to delivery of services, and we discourage you from providing us with personal data or special category data we do not request.

Storage of information

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures ensuring security, confidentiality, and integrity of data we control. Information is stored on a private company database – it is only accessed by Katie’s K9 Buddies and no third parties.  

Data may be processed and stored on cloud based platforms. We only use such third party providers we have confidence in and that have appropriate safeguarding in place ensuring any personal data is subject to the security and protection required under UK Data Protection Legislation.

Your personal data will be stored for as long as required to complete the task in which it was originally collected for and for no longer. Thereafter, your personal data will be deleted unless we have business reasons to retain the information, for example continual completion of services or important updates.

There are a few links to external sites on our website, these are operated by individuals and companies outside of our control. By following a link you are accessing a site which has it’s own individual privacy policy. We accept no responsibility or liability for these policies outside of our site and our control. Emails from us

This Privacy Policy was updated on 11.10.24 and will be regularly checked with updates upon changes to relevant Data Protection Legislation.

Any data collected is only intended for the use stated. We reserve the right to update this Privacy Notice when required. If necessary you will be contacted regarding any changes to the policy which will impact your existing or future data collected from our site.
